What We Do for Others, We Do for Jesus. Matt.25:40
Our Story
Freedom’s Hope was born out of a deep burden placed on the heart of our founder, Charlotte Evans who had a passion to meet people in their darkest moments—not just with temporary relief, but with lasting restoration.
Through her compassion and obedience to God’s calling, she laid the foundation for a ministry focused on walking closely with individuals and families in crisis—helping them break cycles of hardship, rediscover their identity, and rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
Though she has since passed, her legacy continues to shape everything we do. What began as a simple desire to serve has grown into a mission-driven organization committed to long-term transformation.
We recognized a gap: many people receive short-term help, but few are given a clear path toward lasting change. Freedom’s Hope was created to bridge that gap.
Today, we continue the work she started—walking closely with those we serve, offering not just resources, but relationship, accountability, and hope rooted in truth.
“Sometimes it is as simple as a participant being unable to work or receive assistance because they do not have an ID card. We assist that participant in obtaining that ID and removing the obstacle.”
-Rev. Charlotte Evans
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a clear and structured path toward restoration—addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs—so individuals can experience lasting freedom and sustainable life change.
What Makes Us Different:
We focus on long-term transformation, not just short-term relief
We prioritize relationship over transaction
We integrate faith-based principles with practical support
We walk with people through the entire journey—not just the crisis moment
Our Approach
At Freedom’s Hope, we believe real change happens through a combination of structure, support, and spiritual growth.
Our “CARE, EQUIP, LAUNCH” model focuses on:
Stabilization – Meeting immediate needs and creating safety
Restoration – Addressing deeper emotional and spiritual brokenness
Equipping – Building life skills, responsibility, and independence
Reintegration – Helping individuals transition into sustainable, healthy living
We don’t just help people survive—we help them rebuild.
Real Impact
Over the years, we have helped rebuild more than 1,000 lives—walking alongside individuals and families as they move from crisis to stability and from brokenness to restoration.
But behind every number is a story:
Individuals finding hope where there once was none
Families being restored and relationships healed
Men and women discovering purpose, identity, and direction
Communities strengthened through lasting, generational change
We don’t measure success by numbers alone—but by transformed lives that continue forward with stability, faith, and a renewed future.
“I was damaged, but at Freedom’s Hope I found someone who listened and saw my vision for restoring myself at Freedom’s Hope”

Freedom’s Hope partners with Cone Health to provide an onsite Congregational Nurse Program that supports the physical well-being of those we serve. A licensed nurse is available Tuesday through Thursday to offer basic medical care, health screenings, and guidance. This program helps address immediate health concerns while also promoting long-term wellness and prevention. By integrating medical support into our model, we are able to care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
